St. Francis School

Who are we?
All parents and guardians of children who attend St. Francis are members of the Parent Service Organization (PSO). It is headed by an executive committee consisting of a president, vice president, treasurer and secretary. Executive Committee members are elected for 2 year terms.

The current PSO Executive Committee officers are:

What does the PSO do?
We are a service organization established to serve the needs of the school. The PSO has two primary responsibilities: fundraising (excluding the school auction) and community building. The Fundraising monies help to fund curriculum enhancements, cultural programs, classroom materials, extracurricular activities and student scholarships. The PSO�s community building efforts help to build connections with parents, the school, the parish and the community at large.

How do I participate?
There are several ways you can be involve. A volunteer form is available in the school office. Completion of this form lets the executive committee know what areas are of interest to you. As events and activities come up, you will be contacted by someone on the committee. The monthly PSO newsletter, The St. Francis Insider, is distributed the first Thursday of each month. This communication includes information about upcoming events, activities and fundraisers. You can also watch the weekly school newsletters for requests for volunteers for upcoming events. There is a PSO suggestion box located in the school office. Please feel free to leave your comments, questions, and suggestions or contact any of the PSO Executive officers directly.
