St. Francis School

Sherwood, Oregon

St. Francis School is an extension of the Parish's mandate to hand on the Gospel message to its children and evangelize the surrounding community. The school's primary purpose is to provide a Christ-centered educational environment, firmly rooted in the Catholic faith and under the patronage of St. Francis of Assisi. This environment will foster the growth of students toward their fullest God-given potential and guide them to be Christian witnesses in service to others.

A Message From The Principal

A Message From The Principal

Thank you for visiting our school website. As you will see, we are a Catholic School within the Portland Archdiocese. The Archdiocese has a rich tradition in Catholic Education and we are proud to be the first brand new Catholic school in over four decades.

The impact of Catholic Education upon a child is measured not only in academic success; but also in the ways in which we help shape young lives in a variety of positive ways. St. Francis School is part of this tradition.

For our current parents, I hope that the website is helpful as a reference tool and an additional method of communication. We will continually update information to maintain its usefulness. Thank you for joining us in a partnership that will help shape the future of our community and our Church.

Sincerely,
Michael Cantu,
Principal
